SNEK - Starlink Network Extention Kit

A compact field-deployable communications kit built for speed, uptime and mobility. Designed for teams who need reliable low-latency links without the bulk, noise or fragility of traditional infrastructure.

What It Does

SNEK creates a high-performance point-to-point wireless link using two enterprise-grade radios — delivering high throughput, low latency and the ability to run different antenna types simultaneously for real-world situations.

Simply drop the tripods, power on, align, and go.

Key Advantages

Dual-Radio Architecture

Two independent radios allow:

  • Higher aggregate throughput

  • Lower latency under load

  • Directional + omni coverage options

One radio can run a tight directional link for bulk data, while the second handles mobile local users or backup paths.

Power That Goes Anywhere

Integrated LiFePO₄ Battery (24V)

  • Rechargeable + long cycle life

  • Safe chemistry with stable voltage

  • Supports high load radios

  • Supplies direct 24V PoE without converters

Hybrid Charging Inputs

Included power options:

  • MPPT Solar Input
    For semi-permanent deployments

  • AC Wall Charger
Recharge or power from mains connection.

Built for Harsh Conditions

Tough Transport Case

  • Waterproof/dust-resistant hard case

  • Foam-mounted internal bay

  • All hardware mounted in base for stability

  • Lid opens clean for deployment

Designed to survive vehicles, aircraft, rain and field environments.

Enterprise-Grade Radio Hardware

SNEK uses hardened networking gear normally found in WISPs, industrial backhaul and high-reliability deployments.

Expect:

  • Real throughput (not marketing “peak speeds”)

  • Split antennas for real RF flexibility

  • Robust PoE architecture

  • Battle-tested firmware & monitoring

Not consumer Wi-Fi — real infrastructure packed into a field case.

Use Cases

  • Emergency comms & disaster response

  • Field research + telemetry

  • Long-range streaming & broadcast

  • Outdoor events & construction sites

  • Ad-hoc networks for teams

  • Rural/remote temporary connectivity

  • Tactical robotics or drone support

Core Features

  • Dual enterprise radios

  • Directional + Omni antennas

  • Portable tripod mounts

  • Rechargeable 24V LiFePO₄ battery

  • MPPT solar input

  • AC charging option

  • 24V PoE distribution

  • Rugged waterproof case

  • Low latency & high throughput

  • Silent operation

  • Field-repairable wiring

Deployment Workflow

  1. Place tripods and attach antennas

  2. Power on the case

  3. Aim directional antenna (simple visual alignment)

  4. Connect user devices or upstream network

  5. Operate for hours from battery alone, or indefinitely via solar

Why It Exists

Put simply, there's nothing like it. We've taken the half baked concept of a plug-in wifi range extender and engineered it beyond recognition. The dual radio design eliminates the 1/2 speed penalty that is inherent straight off the bat when you try to use a single radio for repeater operations. Using two radios - one for uplink and the other for local coverage, not only free's up full speed performance, it now means we can select mission dependent antennas for each radio, further maximizing range and throughput. We use a positionable, 360 degree omni directional antenna for local coverage, and a seperate, directional panel antenna for your uplink to your starlink router.

The next step is portability. This repeater unit can be deployed in seconds. And thanks to it's Solar input and onboard MPPT charger, it has the potential to be deployed permanently in almost any location.
